Permanent Exhibitions

Under Construction Under Construction! Under Construction

Kingman Museum staff and volunteers have been renovating the permanent exhibition galleries since spring of 2006. The first renovated space was the paleontology exhibition.

Kingman Museum is working with Ray Wetzel Designs to complete the planning for several new permanent exhibitions. The geology collection will be moved to the lower level and exhibited with the museum's paleontology artifacts, creating much needed education program space in the planetarium.

The Mezzanine Level will host two exhibitions, the Biological Science Hall and the Small Animal gallery. "Life Cycles" will be the first exhibit completed in the Biological Science Hall and feature Kingman Museum's embryo collection. The small animal gallery will feature animals from Michigan habitats and other areas. Funds are still needed for the completion of this gallery.

Museum staff and board members are excited about these changes to your Kingman Museum and plan to begin renovations this summer.
