Eagle
Scout Project on Display at Museum
Caleb Vandyke completed a mural titled, "Boy Scouts
Conserve," for his Eagle Scout project. The canvas mural was given
to Kingman Museum on June 7, 2008, and is currently displayed on
the lower level. Caleb chose the theme based on the museum's focus
on the conservation of our habitats and natural resources. Pictures
of endangered species, listed as of February 2008, borders the
canvas. A map of the world, displaying the Boy Scout Outdoor Code,
is surrounded by merit badges that focus on conservation. In order
to obtain Eagle Scout rank, a scout must complete the Environmental
Science merit badge.
