How Heart Attacks and Strokes Occur, Novel Insights

Kingman Museum, welcomes Dr. George Abela, Professor of Medicine, Chief of the Cardiology Division and Director of the Fellowship Training Program at Michigan State University, in honor of "American Heart Month." Dr. Abela, will explain how heart attacks and strokes occur and how they can be prevented. Through his research he has developed a method for tracking plaque buildup and new insights into the role of cholesterol in causing heart attacks and strokes.
