Kingman Museum is always planning new and dynamic programming for children and adults of all ages! Like us on Facebook to keep up to date on our events. In addition to our Natural History Museum, we have an amazing Planetarium with shows every weekend, family movie nights, story hours, presentations & lectures, interactive educational activities and more.

Starting March 7, 2015 through May 2015, Kingman Museum will host “Great Minds” as the featured exhibit. The Battle Creek Area Math and Science Center have partnered with us to create dynamic exhibits, programming, and activities for Great Minds. Thank you to the Battle Creek Community Foundation,  Miller Foundation, the Binda Foundation, OMNI Credit Union and the Battle Creek Masons Lodge #12 for all of your support which has made this collaborative exhibit possible!

We are open for Spring Break! Tuesday, April 7 through Sunday, April 12 from noon-4pm

Great Minds will focus on 3 key themes: March is Chemistry, April is Optical Illusions, May is Inventions and Patents.

Stay tuned for dates and times for our Optical Illusions Magician in April and Heritage Battle Creek’s presentation of local Inventions and Patents.

March 28: 1-3pm Literacy Collaborative event. Read and be read to and take a book home with you.
April 4: 1-3pm Hidden Treasures, Camouflage
April 11: 1-3pm Optical Illusion experiments with the Battle Creek Area Math and Science Center
April 25:Magic and Illusions by Alan Kazam” performances at 12:30 and 1:30pm. No additional cost beyond regular admission, but space is limited. Get your tickets today!
May 2: Heritage Battle Creek presents Local Patents from 1-3pm
May 16: Robotics Day! Experiment with hands on robotics activities from 1-3pm
May 23: Granny’s Reading Corner from 1-3pm
