An annual event since 2003, Kanoe the Kazoo has introduced over 1,000 area citizens to the beauty and recreational opportunities provided by the Kalamazoo River and its tributary streams and lakes.  As we go to press, this year eight organizations are offering floats on various stretches of the Kalamazoo River, its tributaries and lakes within the watershed.

Pre-registration is required.  Trips are on the Kalamazoo River unless otherwise noted.  All trips include some instruction on stream and riparian ecology and watershed management.  Additional information on each float and registration is available on our registration page
