Wild Kingman Summer Program

July 21-25
9 AM to 12 PM
Cost $10/day
(members get special rate of $40 if they register for all five days in advance)

Don’t forget to sign up for this week of exploration, hands-on projects, and games!  Activities this summer will include hands-on bird, fossil, insect, Native American, plant, and volcano projects. We will be focusing on activities that encourage children to explore the outdoors.  Registration begins May 5.  Registration packets are available at our gift shop or click here to download a PDF.

"Aloha! Greetings from the Islands" exhibits Hawaiian and other South Pacific island items from the museum's collection not previously on display.  A few items are on loan from Battle Creek residents for the duration of the exhibition only.  The exhibition features an octopus lure, examples of Tapa and Kapa cloth, a variety of garments associated with the Hula, lava tools, geological specimens, wooden vessels, and much more.  Over 50 items will be on display in addition to numerous photographs from the museum's archives, some of which were taken by the museum’s first director, Edward Brigham, Sr
