Unique Ideas Found in Gift Shop

Kingman Museum's gift shop is located directly inside the museum's front door. It is open to the public during the museum's hours of operation. We are a non-profit museum store - proceeds from the shop support the museum's programs.

Merchandise sold in the shop relates to the museum's mission and allows guests to take home a memento of their museum experience. We offer unique gifts, jewelry, items created by Michigan artists, collectibles, rocks & minerals, fossils, and educational toys & kits.

Fossil Gifts Give gifts from the past.  For the budding paleontologist, the Kingman Museum Gift Shop has a variety of fossils which make unique gifts.  You will “dig up” ammonites, goniatites, orthoceras, fish fossils, Paleozoic trilobites, Petoskey stones, plant fossils, and shark teeth.
Andromedome™ Along with our new planetarium, astronomy-related gifts have “landed” at Kingman Museum.  The gift shop carries beautifully crafted Andromedome™ paperweights in which the Moon, Earth, and our neighbor Mars are shown in great detail at 1:300 million scale.  In addition, we carry Cosmic Collectible Sets and Earth Marbles, some with features showing more than 50 rivers with full color forests, icecaps, deserts and shadow relief mountain ranges in amazing detail.  Visit the gift shop to see our wide range of gifts.
SoapRocks® SoapRocks® have washed ashore at Kingman Museum!  These unique, long-lasting, fragrant soaps are replicas of the earth’s precious stones.  As they gently cleanse, each soap will weather away like a stream stone in geologic time, ever so slowly exposing the beauty locked away within.  They make wonderful gifts!  Visit the museum gift shop to pick out your favorite "rock."
