March 2009 - Watch those tires!

If spring has got you thinking about getting a tune-up for your car, don’t forget the tires!  Properly inflated tires actually make a big difference in your fuel efficiency.  Five pounds of under inflation in your tires can cut mileage by 2%.  Over time that really adds up!  Check your tires frequently and keep them in the recommended pressure range described in your owner’s manual.  It will save you money and reduce carbon emissions.
